Overall the original city elite and city elite 2 are very similar and share almost all the same key features, so the 2019 city elite 2 is more of a refinement of the original than a completely different pram.
The key upgrades from the city elite to the city elite 2 include:
- Magnetic closures on the canopy peekaboo windows
- Improved accessibility to the under basket
- Updated aesthetic style
- Higher canopy position
The current model city elite 2 fold mechanism has a 2 step pull to fold on the seat that with practice can be folded with one hand in one movement.
Compared to the original city elite with a single pull to fold strap in the seat and a fold lock located on both sides of the frame underneath the seat.
