Why does the mamaRoo sleep have a 4 hour shut off?

The 4-hour shutoff feature is standard across our mamaRoo products. In the MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet, it is a feature that helps to begin the transition from bassinet to crib. Most newborns will fall asleep within a 4-hour timeframe and will not feel the motion stop. You can easily turn the motion back on via the 4moms app or on the unit itself.
