Sometimes you might notice white marks on your stroller frame.
These may not be scratches in the metal, but can be caused by bumping against wall, door frame or even at the supermarket when going through the check out. This can leave to the paint from the surface transferring onto the frame.
You can check this by slowly running a finger nail over the mark and feel if it's dented into the metal, or if there's a substance sitting on the surface of the metal.
If you feel the surface is rough, but doesn't go into the metal, there likely is something on the frame these can often be removed with a damp soft cloth and a cleaning product like Gumption/Jiff etc (cleaning product with "micro particles" that give it a slightly gritty texture)
Then buff the marks with gentle buffing to remove the mark. This may take a couple of minutes, please see attached a quick video demonstrating how we recommend removing with slow, gentle movements. You're better off taking a couple of minutes than rubbing hard and damaging the surface of your stroller.
DO NOT use products with a bleaching or whitening agent (check ingredients in your cleaner)
DO NOT not rub harshly and check the surface frequently to be sure excess force isn't being used.
We recommend testing in an inconspicuous part of the frame before attempting as accidental damage caused by cleaning your stroller is not covered under warranty.
If you find there is a scratch into your metal you can try to colour match with car paint pens found at automotive stores.
Also please contact our customer service team and we're happy to help work out how these might be occurring and troubleshoot how to prevent these continuing to appear in the future.
