How did the Joolz 10 Year Transferrable Warranty Work?
When Joolz first introduced the 10 Year Transferrable Warranty customers were required to register their stroller within 6 months of the purchase date, and then would need to go back to the same registration page to transfer ownership if they sell or gift their Joolz stroller within that 10 year period to transfer the remaining balance of their warranty period.
How does the Joolz 10 Year Transferrable Warranty work now?
Towards the end of 2024 Joolz Global made the decision to no longer require registration for 10 year transferrable warranty.
So all Joolz prams now come with 10 year warranty as standard from the time of purchase.
Joolz Global also retroactively honoured this for all Joolz strollers* purchased after September 2022, regardless of whether they had previously been registered.
This is a wonderful news, particularly for new parents having one less thing to have to remember to do during what is already a very busy time!
* Excludes Original Geo, Original Day and Day 2 regardless of date of purchase.
What if you don't have the original proof of purchase?
In response to these changes, as there is no longer a database for the registration and transfer of warranty, we have decided, as the Australian distributor for Joolz, as long as the manufacture date is 2022 or later, we will consider their stroller covered under warranty.
Regardless of whether a person has proof of purchase, or if they are the original owner.
This decision was made to eliminate the uncertainty, for both our internal team and for customers when they reach out to us regarding how to access the transferrable warranty, particularly if you don't have the original receipt - because we understand most people would not receive a copy of the original purchase with a second hand stroller.
It's important to be aware warranty doesn't cover reasonable wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or neglect, and every warranty claim will be assessed within the context of the age of the stroller, just as we would for any brand or product.
This is where retaining original proof of purchase may still be valuable in some cases, because we will assess strollers on the assumption that the manufacture date represents the approximate purchase date.
Where can I go to make a warranty claim?
You can either go to the retailer you purchased your stroller from and they can assist you by contacting our team directly if you are in Australia or another Joolz distributor on your behalf.
