Please note only the 4moms mamaRoo 1046 / version 5 (2022+ model) has the option of playing music via Bluetooth (the previous models have Bluetooth controls through the App, and AUX cord for music via an MP3 device)
Also, the function of controlling the motions on your MamaRoo and streaming music will work independently, but at this time, both will not work at the same time.
4moms are looking into updating this feature, but at this stage this isn't an option for the 4moms mamaRoo. So if you are streaming music you can adjust the features from the control panel of your MamaRoo.
Your MamaRoo includes a secondary Bluetooth function that makes it possible to stream your favorite music through your MamaRoo speakers - perfect for when baby wants to soothe and groove to some tunes.
On your MamaRoo:
1. Assemble and power on your MamaRoo
2. Tap the sound (music note icon) control 5 total times so that all 4 LED lights are illuminated together
On your Phone, Tablet, or other smart device:
1. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings
If you have both the 4moms App and Bluetooth Streaming connected to your phone or tablet, you’ll see two MamaRoo Bluetooth Connections like this:
2. Connect to “MamaRoo”
3. Navigate to your music selection and play
If you're having trouble connecting your 4moms we have found it is easiest to connect to the Bluetooth streaming function first, then putting the music on pause, and then connect to the app. Once that connection is established, resume playing music.
The steps to do this on a phone that was already paired via the app are:
1. Open the 4moms app, tap your MamaRoo on the "My Products" page, navigate to the settings on the next page, and tap "Delete product."
2. In your Bluetooth Settings, Remove/Forget all MamaRoo devices under My Devices or devices you are already paired with
3. Then, power on your MamaRoo and press the music icon until all four lines above the music icon are illuminated. This means your MamaRoo is in streaming mode.
4. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and tap the available MamaRoo in your available devices.
You should then be able to stream music from your mobile device to the MamaRoo.
Please ensure the volume is turned up on both your mobile device and the MamaRoo.
