If your 4moms mamaRoo swing or mamaRoo sleep bassinet is turning on but is turning off automatically after a short time, especially after selecting a movement setting, this could indicate a power supply issue.
You may still be able to turn on music/sound and movement might start but then immediately stops and power cuts off suddenly with not lights or screen flashing prior to power switching off.
If this doesn't describe the issue please see alternative troubleshooting below:
Firstly check that the power cord you are using is designed for your model of 4moms swing or sleep bassinet. The power adapter will have the 4moms logo and state which product it's designed for. If you have misplaced the correct power supply/power cord you can purchase a replacement following the links below:
If you are using the correct 4moms Power Supply for your unit and the cord appears to be undamaged you can perform the following troubleshooting:
- Test your 4Moms mamaRoo at a different power point to ensure it is not a power supply issue.
- Return to the store you purchased your 4Moms mamaRoo and have them test your power cable with their display model mamaRoo. (All Baby Bunting stores should have this on display - otherwise please contact the store prior to confirm)
This to assess if it’s an issue with the base or power cable - so you know which part needs to be replaced. Please note your local retailer won't stock replacement parts for your mamaRoo.
If your 4moms mamaRoo is approximately within the 12 month warranty period and you have proof of purchase please submit a warranty claim form below. (Please note we do allow some flexibility so if in doubt please proceed to submitting a warranty form and we can assess the best way to proceed.)
If you are outside the warranty period you can purchase the part required after confirming the part required following the links below:
If you find the issue is with the base, even if you are outside the warranty period please feel free to contact our customer service team to discuss the best way to move forward as the base houses all mechanical, electronic and moving parts so is a substantial portion of the overall product. The RRP for the mamaRoo base is $450
