If the lights/screen is flashing, number flashing on the screen or lights turned red this followed by the power shutting off this indicates an obstruction error.
If there is no visible external obstruction this would indicate an internal obstruction. A couple of things to be aware of that can damage your mamaRoo and cause the internal mechanisms to be out of alignment which will trigger the obstruction error:
- Do not carry the mamaRoo from the top of the seat/bassinet. Lift from the base.
- Do not lift or drag the mamaRoo while the child is in the unit.
- Incorrect storage (for example stacking heavy items on the unit while in storage)
- Dropping the unit or any other kind of impact that could damage internally.
Also be mindful in the future as per your user manual:
- Do not use the mamaRoo® once your child can sit up unaided or attempts to climb out, regardless of age or weight.
- Maximum weight: 11.3kg
- Maximum age: 6 months
