Not receiving notifications from Nanit

If you’re receiving motion notifications and not sound notifications, make sure the camera audio is turned on in the Nanit app:

1. Open the Nanit app and tap side menu
2. If you have more than one Nanit camera - Tap the camera you’d like to adjust
3. Choose your baby’s settings
4. Tap 'Sound'
5. Toggle on the 'Sound' option

If you’re not receiving sound or motion notifications, first make sure your notifications are enabled with the proper sensitivity settings by following the steps here.

If you’re still not receiving notifications, make sure notifications are enabled on your phone or tablet:

iOS device:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap 'Notifications'.
3. Scroll down and tap the Nanit app icon.
4. Make sure the 'Allow Notifications' and 'Show on Lock Screen' toggles are green.
5. Make sure 'Alert Style When Unlocked' is set to 'Banners or Alerts'.

Android device:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap 'Apps'.
3. Tap Nanit.
4. Select 'Show notifications'.
