Over time wear and tear on your stroller can impact the appearance and functionality of your stroller.
To help keep your stroller looking and feeling newer for longer we have put together a list of simple things you can do to improve the lifespan of your stroller.
- Applying grease to your wheel pins/axels every 3 months (or more often the more you walk) will help your wheels feel smooth on your walks. (If you don't have a grease lubricant you can use Petroleum Jelly - ie Vaseline. Please note spray lubricants like WD40 typically aren't as effective)
- Spraying lubricant into the brake on moving parts will help clean out any dirt that may impact the way your brake operates. (We recommend Lube Rice)
- Every 6 months check to make sure all screws are still tight and tighten any that may need to be tightened.
- Dry your wheels off after use in the wet to avoid the water soaking into and interacting with the rubber compounds.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat for example in the car on a hot day.
- Store your stroller indoors, out of direct sunlight, to avoid weather damage and fading.
